Here is some bread we received along with some Chianti wine, which our server selected for us. I did appreciate the attention to detail with fresh flowers on both the storefront and tables. The bread was delicious! A nice soft sponge-y center and a very tough crust, led us to finish this basket and another.

This is the Fettuccine a la Tuscana, with Chicken Shitake, Marsala Sundried Tomatoes in Cream Sauce. The chicken was a little undercooked for my tastes. The fettuccine was a little too al dente. The cream sauce was good, but I don’t think the tomatoes added anything to the flavor, so maybe reduce the fruit a little more or remove it completely. This was a cheesy delight. It also tasted pretty great when reheated.

This is the Chicken Scarpariello, with sauteed in White Wine, Rosemary, Garlic & Lemon. This was the winning dish of the night! All of the flavors were perfectly balanced, the chicken was cooked to perfection. The sauce added flavor to the mashed potato, which could have used some form of creaming agent, it a bit starchy.

This is the Creme Brulee, it tasted great, nice and creamy. Nothing out of this world but it wasn’t bad.

Overall, the service was great! The ambiance was relaxing and romantic. The good was good. I’d give this place a 3.5 out of 5.
