Manuel E. Restaurant is a small Ecuadorian restaurant located in Jamaica, Queens. My mother had gone out the night before and lets just say she had a small headache the next day. In Ecuador nothing cures a hangover quite like and encebollado.
They served their encebollado with tomatoes, cilantro, onions (lots of them), lemon juice, and shrimp, served with limes and plantain chips. They were very generous with the shrimp which was much appreciated. But overall the dish was just okay.
I’d give this place a 2 out of 5.
